Don Sofolo

Don Sofolo

Don Sofolo is the Founder and President of Outsource IT Solutions Group, Inc. (OSG). Mr. Sofolo started OSG in 1998 after recognizing the need and opportunity to bridge the gap between business and technology. Like most successful entrepreneurs, Mr. Sofolo surrounded himself with other likeminded individuals who have a passion for designing, implementing, and supporting excellent technology solutions.

Through the combined efforts of this team over the past 23 years, OSG has grown from a single employee with single customer to today employing 45 people who service 200+ active customers throughout the greater Chicagoland area. Over the years, Mr. Sofolo has leveraged a unique ability to recognize and integrate multiple best of breed point technology solutions into a secure and robust managed services offering which fuels and protects IT assets across a wide range of business verticals.

Today, Mr. Sofolo is working on improving OSG’s operational maturity level as the business scales and improving OSG’s service and solution offerings in an increasingly technologically complex and cloud-based world. When not helping companies solve technology problems, Mr. Sofolo enjoys traveling and spending time with his friends and family.

 

Mike Ruter

Michael Ruter

Michael Ruter is the CEO of Outsource IT Solutions Group, Inc.(OSG). Mr. Ruter joined OSG in 2011 after moving on from his position as Managing Director for Spherion-Chicago where he held several roles in sales and operational management for the Accounting and IT staffing sectors. Mr. Ruter has been able to apply this experience at OSG which has contributed to significant growth since his addition to the executive team.

As CEO, Mr. Ruter is responsible for and provides oversight to all areas of Sales, Service, and Admin at OSG. He brings a professional but “all business” approach to his interactions with both internal and external customers. His most recent accomplishment is driving the development of an outbound sales engine which is producing revenue and EBITDA growth for the larger organization.

Mr. Ruter holds a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois and when he is not working, he enjoys reading and spending time at the lake.
