OSG Security Threat Responder

At the end of the day, network security is one of, if not the most important factor to consider when doing business. If you don’t have a service out there policing the block, it’s only a matter of time before chaos takes the reigns.

At OSG, we’re big fans of Vijilan for its network security capabilities. The Ft. Lauderdale-based company started up just last year, and it’s already taking the tech world by storm.

The story behind the Vijilan name is actually quite compelling – and while we’ll spare you the intricate details – the term Vijilan is Creole for “being alert, watchful, and vigilant.” That’s pretty much exactly what you should expect from the company.

How Vijilan Works

Think of Vijilan as a really advanced antivirus software. It monitors your network 24/7 – searching for security breaches, analyzing and pinpointing where they came from, then acting and responding in the quickest, most effective methods available.

The service is effective, efficient, and extremely precise. It can determine exactly which device has been infringed upon and how it was affected. It then begins acting immediately to stop and repair the transgression.

The Best Part

Vijilan takes little to no effort to set up on your end. You don’t have to perform any scans since everything is consistently being monitored. But best of all, you’ll be able to sleep at night knowing that everything will be right where you left it when you return tomorrow.

Here’s the Problem

Everything has a catch, right? You knew it had to be too good to be true…

Well, yes and no. Everything mentioned above is fact, but Vijilan refuses to sell their services directly to customers, choosing only to sell to outsourced IT providers like ourselves. In truth, it’s not much of a problem at all. If you’re already using OSG for alternative services, you’re then able to deal with us and ONLY us for security as well. We endorse Vijilan, and you should too.
